Continuing the Drupal experience

Here I am, a couple of months since I switched from a custom platform (which replaced an event earlier install of Wordpress) to Drupal for my site.

Its been interesting to learn, though honestly I've not had a lot of time, hence the low activity level.

I've learned quite a bit about Drupal in the last couple of weeks, as my new job is using it for quite a few projects, including the one that I have been given. I've already seen quite a bit of cross-fertilization of ideas so far, and expect it only to happen more and more as time goes on. I don't expect that this site will ever need, nor even use, the level of development and customization that I am building for my client at the moment. But do expect to see changes in theme, layout, views, and such here.

I've already discovered quite a few useful modules, and even shifted to using Acquia Drupal as my base install. It comes with alot of goodness pre-installed and configured for a faster setup.

Well, enough for now, my lunch break is sliding by. I'll be sure to keep things up to date with new knowledge and fun stuff.
